Ramaphosa answers questions on land expropriation.

HITS AND MISSES FOR RAMAPHOSA AS HE FACES QUESTIONS ON LAND, ZUMA LEGAL FEES.

President Cyril Ramaphosa was put through the paces by MPs as he faced his first question and answer session in the National Assembly as president. As expected, MPs did not pull any punches as they asked gruelling questions on the legal costs of former president Jacob Zuma's court engagements, land expropriation without compensation as well as the state of the National Prosecuting  Authority. Not all of the president's answers were popular, particularly those on the subject of land expropriation without compensation.

Mosiuoa Lekota accused Ramaphosa of encouraging a divisive narrative in his answer to land expropriation without compensation question. ''I am very disturbed that suddenly we are no longer South Africans. Some are Indians, African, Coloured, White. But the Bill of Rights says we are all South Africans.'' said Lekota. This came after Ramaphosa kept referring to the need for expropriation of land from ''white owners'' and giving to ''our people''.

Ramaphosa was slightly more popular when he made it clear that Zuma would have to repay the money if he lost the cases he was currently embroiled in-for which taxpayers are footing the bill. Julius Malema inquired  ''Which law is ANC ascribing to in covering Zuma's legal fees or any President's fees''. Ramaphosa promised EFF leader that he will look in to the particular law and come back with an answer within a week.

We are looking forward to hearing the answer from Ramaphosa about the fees. Will racism ever fade away, is there a point where we will truly believe that we are the same? As for me I believe that for God made us different we will always be different we only need to accept that., Yes they fought for equality but there's no such thing.

Holomisa says call for him and Malema to rejoin ANC is a 'big no'

SEVERAL TOP ANC OFFICIALS CAME OUT THIS WEEKEND SAYING THEY WANT EFF LEADER JULIUS MALEMA BACK IN THE PARTY.

Julius Malema, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela and Cyril Ramaphosa. at her 80th birthday.

President Cyril Ramaphosa became the latest top ANC leader in a single weekend to say he wants the EFF leader Julius Malema back in the ANC. The amid pre-Cabinet reshuffle rumours that Ramaphosa intended to include the opposition parties in his administration now after the 2019 election. Deputy President David Mabuza, party head of elections Fikile Mbalula and struggle stalwart Winnie Madikizela-Mandela all said they would like to see Malema rejoin the ANC, with Mabuza extending the invitation to UDM leader Bantu Holomisa.

Holomisa, however, immediately dismissed the ANC gesture. ''I't's a big no. I am not ready to surrender my liberty. The role I play outside of the ANC as part of opposition can be seen by all. ''Who would have made Zuma and the ANC to account for its corruption if we did not challenge it?''  Holomisa said. ''By bringing us inside the ANC, they want to silence us. Experience shows that one-party domination breeds corruption, and that has been the case in South Africa over the past ten years,''

Political analyst Dr Somadoda Fikeni said the ANC gesture to Malema and Holomisa was not surprising, as indications were clear that a coalition of some sort was in the pipeline in the near future. The ANC promised to back the pending EFF motion to oust the DA Nelson Mandela Bay Metro mayor, Athol Trollip. Neither the EFF leader nor his party spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi could be reached for comment yesterday, maybe they are considering the offer.

Fikile Mbalula resigned as ANC MP

THE SOUTH AFRICAN FORMER MINISTER OF POLICE FIKILE MBALULA HAS RESIGNED AS A MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT.

The office of the ANC whip in Parliament confirmed on Friday that Mbalula had tendered his resignation effective from February 26. He was recently removed as minister of police following president Cyril Ramaphosa's Cabinet reshuffle. Mbalula's resignation does not come as surprise as he has been appointed as the ANC's Head of elections, a full-time post to be based at Luthuli House.

''While combrade Mbalula's departure from Parliament will leave a void, we derive satisfaction  from the knowledge that he will continue serving the movement as the ANC's head of Elections towards the 2019 General Elections campaign '' said the statement issued by the Chief Whip Jackson Mthembu's office.

The ANC has announced a series of appointments at its head office at Luthuli House with the aim of beefing up its preparations for the 2019 national elections. Other  appointments at Luthuli House include Senzo Mchunu who will head-up organising and Zizi KOdwa who is appointed as the head as ANC presidency.

A Girl Raped with Live Snake.

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MEN, ARE THEY TAKEN OVER BY SATANISM?

A man has been sentenced to 20 years in jail for raping a three year old with a live snake. Regional Magistrate Jan Greyvenstein said he had presided over almost 2 000 sexual crimes cases but this was a first. ''What goes on in a person's mind to do something like this is something I can not understand. This kind of offence is something to no sensible person could justify''.

The court heard how Martin Jozana 27, on 31 October took the snake to Bloemfontein house where the little girl had been left by her mother. Jozana tried to sell the snake to the people of the house and later took the toddler into the corner where they were out of sight and violated her with it.

The little girl's brother later went to fetch her. At home the girl's mother saw blood on her crying daughter and the girl pointed out Jozana. This is a tragedy is very different and I feel the 20 years is not worth what he has done to this girl.

Consideration of a pension of R30m, to someone who is innocent until proven guilty.

MINISTER OF PUBLIC ENTERPRICES LYNNE BROWN REITERATED AS SHE DEFENDED MOLEFE'S REINSTATEMENT AS ESKOM CEO.

Image result for lynne brown

The minister stands firm in defending Molefe who is being investigated of crime. She believes that he is innocent until proven guilty. The question is why would she believe in him this much. The behaviour of Brown simple suggests that she is in one side with the suspect or she is working with him. But that might be a result of her being mentioned in the State of Capture report.

At first she declined the payment of R30m. as pension to Molefe but all of a sudden she says there is no other solution than paying the R30m. How can they consider this much money be given to a single person. Not just a person but someone who is not proven innocent nor guilty. They even want him back to work but he is still being investigated.

There are people out there who need this job rather than a person who is involved in fraud events. I think he should be suspended until proven innocent than working until proven guilty.

Attackers spared 5 female cops in Ngcobo police shooting.

21 February 2018 1:35 PM

COULD IT HAD BEEN A DIFFERENT SITUATION IF THE POLICE WERE MALES OR DURING THE PAST YEARS?

South Africa is becoming a country of no safety where you would not know who to trust or where to go to when you need help regarding security needs. The police have been the hope of our safety in the past years. In the apartheid era you would not have guts of even to fart in the presence of police officers. They were like some sort of kings in a traditional manner. This anxious made people not to do what ever they please to other people even when it's for their own benefit. There were less criminals, I believe so. Not much of police officers killed by criminals. Had that happened other policers would work tireless to find the criminals and punish them severely and no other criminal would wish to kill a police officer.

Nowadays criminals are the same police officers. It would not be easy to find people who have done this if the same people investigating the case are those who have done it or are involved. There are no longer strict laws and people are becoming corrupt everyday. We no longer fear police officers because they also work with criminals. The fact that the criminals were not there to rob tells me that those people were sent or its just Satanism.

Some people still believe that males are better than females especially at jobs like being police officers, soldiers, leaders, builders etc. '' This tragedy may have been a results of weakness in females'' some believe so. Men would have fought and found their way out but the truth is we will never know who is better than the other because we all have our best fields.
This should be taken care of because our country is becoming hell where no one rules and no one take orders.
